Broadcaster 101.

The video guide to broadcasting your channel with RayV

Lesson 3 : Working with playlists

If you have multiple sources that you want to automate, you can create a playlist by clicking the playlist tab at the top of the screen. you give your new playlist a name and you’re ready to add sources. you drag your sources from the list on the left into your playlist. If you haven’t added your sources yet, please refer to the previous video.

You can rearrange your sources, and even set durations for live elements such as cameras. You can even add the same source several times and the broadcaster automatically switch between them. If you would like your playlist to loop over and over, simply click the repeat box in the lower left of the playlist window, save your playlist and you are ready to roll

You can load your playlist into a standby in your control room, just like you would any other source, load it, and take it live. You’ll notice under your live return on the right hand side of your screen you will see the elements of the playlist, you can even manually advance it by clicking on a different source.

Playlists are a great way to run your broadcasts.
